I took my second jaunt over to Doom last night and within 20 minutes I had my second Doom artefact. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw an Ornament of the Magician sitting in my pack. I would have to say I have spent a collective 2 hours in Doom for a collective 2 artefacts.

This has got to be a good thing as the price of Doom artefacts were highly inflated and disadvantaged the casual player too much. Many merchants on US shards are up in arms at EA for ruining there monopoly of the artefact market.

If you are now looking to buy such artefacts, be alert as prices should plummet further as the economy become saturated with new hauls of loot from Doom.

On another note Knix the rip off vendor in the Gaunlet has written an official complaint to EA as she is struggling to extort players for basic necessities such as reagents, arrows and band aids due to the large piles of gold left lying on the ground after each battle.

See not only are player extortionists hurting from this change, so are NPC extortionists.
